Main hoist

Did you know that the main hoist is a drive unit? It consists of gear unit, motor, coupling, brake and rope drum. It is used to lift and lower the containers. Heavy masses are moved and lifted to high altitudes. Consequently, high standards of safety and reliability apply. To meet these requirements and at the same time avoid oversizing the gear units, the gear units are designed according to the customer's specifications.

Trolley travel unit

The trolley travel units are required for the horizontal movement of the containers. They ensure fast transport of containers from ship to land and vice versa. We offer a variety of drive options to meet current market requirements. The drive can be mounted directly on the drum or directly on the wheel. SEW-EURODRIVE has the ideal solution for both mounting types.

Boom hoist

The boom hoist ensures flexibility in transporting container ships on the quay. It lifts and lowers the boom so that the container ships can dock or drop off safely and unhindered at the quay. Our drive technology also offers the right solution for this safety-relevant application.

Gantry travel

We offer two options for the gantry travel – with our gearmotors and with industrial gear units. You can choose between two options. The gantry travel ensures gentle acceleration and braking so that it does not vibrate. Our motor brakes and flexible brake mounting solutions ensure a safe stop during the work process.
