The new adapter concept

Mounting of asynchronous motors (IEC and NEMA)

The AMS.. adapters enable the attachment of IEC motors in sizes 63 to 280 and NEMA motors in sizes 56 to 364/365 to SEW gear units. All adapters in this series are fully connection-compatible and therefore easily interchangeable with the previous AM. adapters. The length reduction is up to 37 %.

Attachment of servomotors

All adapters in the AQS.. series are fully connection-compatible and interchangeable with the previous AQ.. - adapters. The length reduction is up to 53 %. And a range of new adapter variants is available for mounting other commercially available servomotors. The AQSA.. variant enables the connection of servo motor shafts with feather keys. The adapters of the AQSH.. variant are equipped with a new type of clamping ring for smooth motor shafts. Unscrewing the clamping screw against a stop expands the clamping ring and increases the joining gap. This ingenious "spreading function" makes it easier to "thread" the motor shaft so that the motor can be fitted easily and simply without the coupling having to be fitted to the motor shaft first.

NEW: Stainless steel adapter for mounting stainless steel motors

Our new AESMS... and AESQS... adapters made of high-quality stainless steel are highly compatible and designed for mounting third-party motors to the RESF..., KES... and WES... stainless steel gearboxes.
